The challenge is to make something that makes you happy. I haven’t had this stamp very long and have already used it several times – it’s so versatile! Today’s version makes me happy because I like all the ‘gems’ I placed on it. And butterflies remind me of our trip to the Grand Caymans and attending butterfly exhibits at the local museum and EPCOT with my oldest granddaughter.
Today’s challenge for April Fool’s Day on the Twisted Tuesday blog is to use the following image as inspiration:
I chose to make a harlequin type background (reminding me of a jester’s clothing) and use this cute little bird and sentiment from Doodle Pantry. Instead of glitter, I added some stones to make it shine – reminded me more of the bells on his hat and shoes than glitter.
The little bird is so cute, it just made me grin. I hope it does the same for you.
The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge requires using buttons so I used the mini buttons die from Stamps of Life to make my buttons.
This also then applies to the Cutie Pie Challenge to use a die on your card. I am entering this card for both challenges.
